Helping Deal With The Christchurch Attack

This is your home and you should've been safe

Dear AIS students and staff

This is a further message related to the events that took place in Christchurch one week ago today.

AIS continues to ensure staff and students are provided with information as it becomes available.

A message board will be placed in the foyer so students and staff can leave their thoughts and messages of respect for those caught up in these tragic events. A number of organised vigils of remembrance are being held across Auckland today.

Staff and students that wish to make a donation, can do so through GiveaLittle, the Red Cross or through ASB online or any ASB branch with account No. 15 – 3976 – 0091104 – 80

Again, a reminder that if you are, or if you know of someone who may be feeling distressed by these events, please let us know. There are a number of ways in which we can support staff and students through these disturbing times.

The Board of Directors and Executive Management Team have continued to monitor the situation. A recent message went out from Security as a reminder to be vigilant and to report any unusual activities.

If you are concerned about yourself or someone else, please contact Security (emergency and after-hours 021-616-282), they will direct your call to the appropriate department.
