2015 Graduation Largest To Date

The 2015 AIS Graduation Ceremony was held on Monday 21 September with our largest number of graduates in attendance yet. The day was celebrated at the Bruce Mason Centre in Takapuna with guest speaker Peter Hillary delivering an inspiring speech on the importance of education.

Peter Edmund Hillary is a New Zealand mountaineer, philanthropist and writer. He is the son of adventurer Sir Edmund Hillary, who, along with Nepalese Sherpa mountain climber Tenzing Norgay, completed the first successful ascent of Mount Everest. Peter recounted some stories of his father and how he came to help build schools and hospitals in the small towns of Nepal and further afield.

Congratulations to all our graduates.
